Welcome to our Killeen Evening Lions Club Den!
61 Years and Going Strong!
The Killeen Evening Lions Club is a local service organization. Our Club was chartered by Lions Clubs International in 1964 and has been supporting the Killeen, Texas community ever since. We meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday each month. The meetings start at 7:00 PM and usually finish by 8:30 PM. We meet at the Lion’s Den located at:
5100 S Trimmier Road
Killeen, Texas 76549
Our mission statement is to empower volunteers to serve the Killeen area, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through and along with other Lions Clubs.
Who are the Lions?
Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organization, with over 1.35 million members in more than 46,000 clubs and countless stories of Lions acting on the same simple idea: let’s improve our communities. Everywhere Lions work, they make new friends. With children who need eyeglasses, with seniors who don’t have enough to eat and with people we may never meet. Membership is by invitation only.
Why do men & women become Lions?
They want to help others and those less fortunate and in need. They want to constructively contribute their free time to improve their community and nation.
We can proudly say that Lions Clubs perform far more services and help more people than any other service organization. Our motto is,
****************”WE SERVE”****************
